Domiciliary care provider · Colchester & Essex

About Us

Lee Care Services is an independent domiciliary care provider based in Colchester. We support people in their own homes across Colchester and the surrounding Essex region, and we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Our mission

Putting people at the centre of their own care.

We want to change the way care works by putting the people we support at the centre of their own care. We are here to help each person reach, regain, or keep their independence and potential, with a plan made around their individual needs.

Our aim is to improve our clients' quality of life through a service that goes beyond industry standards. We do that by employing caring, competent, and well-trained people who respond to the needs of our clients, their families, and the communities we serve.

Every member of staff meets the Care Standards training requirements for the work they do, and we support their continued learning. In return, we give our staff fair pay, a good place to work, and management they can trust.

What guides us

Our values

Value 01

Compassion

We treat every person we support with dignity and genuine warmth. Compassion is not an add-on. It shapes every interaction, from the first call to the ongoing care.

Value 02

Reliability

People depend on us. We show up when we say we will, we do what we said we would do, and we communicate clearly when anything changes.

Value 03

Excellence

We hold our service to a high standard and keep looking for ways to improve it. Good enough is not the target. We want every client to receive care they can genuinely rely on.

How we work

Our approach

01

Person-centred care plans

Every care plan starts with listening. We talk through the person's routine, preferences, priorities, and what independence means to them. The plan is built around that, not around what is easiest to deliver.

02

Trained and vetted staff

Every member of staff is vetted and trained before they begin. We only employ people we would trust with our own family members.

03

Continued learning and development

We invest in the ongoing training of our staff. Every member of the team meets the Care Standards training requirements for their role, and we support them to keep developing their skills.

04

Consistent carer matching

Wherever possible, we match each client with a small, consistent team of carers. Familiar faces reduce anxiety and build trust, and consistent carers spot changes in condition much sooner.

Quality and oversight

Regulation and standards

Lee Care Services is approved and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England, and registration means our service is inspected against national standards of safety, effectiveness, and quality.

Every member of our care staff meets the relevant Care Standards training requirements for their role. We invest in ongoing training and development, and we keep records of all qualifications and certifications up to date.

Regulated by

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

CQC registration means our service is subject to independent inspection and must meet national standards of safety and quality.

Staff training

All care staff meet the relevant Care Standards training requirements. Training is updated regularly and covers safeguarding, manual handling, medication, and care-specific competencies.
