Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary care is provided to people living in their own homes who require additional support with day-to-day life, for example, household tasks, personal care, preparing and cooking meals, or any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life whilst allowing a family Caretaker looking after a loved one to have a much-needed break. Different providers will use a range of terms to describe domiciliary care services. Domiciliary care definition includes hourly care, care at home and visiting care. Still, all refer to the same service – a Caretaker visiting your home at times during the day to provide care and support. Lee Care Services can arrange for a Caretaker to visit you once, twice, three, four times or more times a day from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your care and support needs.

Lee Domiciliary Care Includes

Caretakers will prepare meals and, where time allows, cook for you to ensure you get your meals at regular times during the day. If they do not visit at every mealtime, they will prepare in advance food for you to simply put in a microwave.
Personal care (washing, dressing, / food preparation/medication administration). Personal care is a broad term used for several tasks to help you maintain your personal hygiene and appearance, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Meal preparation and shopping.

Medications Administration And Management. The Caretaker will support you with administering medications to ensure you keep on top of your routine.

Lee respite services

When family members need a short break or any emergency from caring, offering a Live-in Caretaker to stay in their home to look after clients for their relative whilst they take a break.

Convalescence care

Lee services from hospital convalescent care in a person’s own home supporting them after a hospital discharge to regain independence safely and in the place, they are happiest. Especially for the elderly is someone who takes care of both the household chores that come with running a home and all duties that fall under personal support and well-being. They will give you a helping hand where you need it. Private home Caretakers are flexible to your needs and requirements. Your Caretaker is there to support and assist you with activities you want to do and when you want to do them. You may start with a Part-Time Caretaker but over time need more support and move to a Full Time Or flexible care package.
We offer two types of night Caretakers – sleeping night Caretakers and waking night Caretakers.

Night Care

Overnight care support is when a Caretaker stays in your home overnight to assist with any needs you may have during the night.

Sleeping Night Care

A sleeping Caretaker will sleep in your home to ensure safety and security. Ongoing support may not be required throughout the night. Still, your Caretaker will be on hand to alleviate any anxieties you may have if you feel uncomfortable when left alone throughout the night.
They are experienced professionals who have been carefully vetted with appropriate training, and also they can help you keep on top of your housekeeping, personal care, or dementia care needs.

Physiotherapy Services

As part of our elderly care physiotherapy service, our physiotherapists will assess individuals and develop a comprehensive and bespoke exercise plan to help the resident maintain mobility, strength and coordination to increase their confidence and independence.

The benefits include:

• Assessing residents’ mobility and rehabilitation needs
• Identification of the most appropriate walking aids
• Identification of residents at risk of falls and implementation of measures to minimise this
• Increased confidence and mobility of residents leading to reduced care needs and reliance on care staff
• The resident’s progress will be observed, measured and recorded
• Regular liaison and hand overs with care staff

Our physiotherapist will work alongside the staff to ensure the residents’ needs are being met and the service provided is being optimised for the best results. We will work closely with the homes Caretakers to help them to encourage and support residents to continue their exercises.
Provide Exercise classes in nursing homes and individual sessions.
A core element of our physiotherapy service is providing tailored exercise classes to care home residents to encourage them to stay active and maintain their strength and balance. We understand the importance of independence and encourage residents to maintain their mobility. The classes are designed to suit the abilities of the residents.

Occupational Therapist

Offer their services to patients who do not have the option to leave their homes it could be utilised by Clients /Service users of all the ranges who needs assistants for leading an independent, quality and fulfilling lifestyle as of emotional, Social developmental, or physical issues providing service users with the ability to complete a necessary task, grooming, basic kitchen tasks, and be independent as much as possible. Also, for people who are suffering from emotional or mental issues, sleep hygiene, breathing/ relaxation therapy exercises in their home or at workplaces.

We offer occupational health and physiotherapy services to care home workers.

Often we see care home workers with complaints such as back pain or knee pain from lifting and supporting residents. By introducing an occupational health service, you could reduce your levels of sick leave due to any musculoskeletal issues.
Occupational therapist will assess and recommend mobility aids—access for major & minor adaptations.
