Companionship
Friendly company, conversation and help getting out and about. Social connection is as important to wellbeing as physical care, our companionship service keeps people engaged, active and connected.
Why it matters
Connection is part of good care.
Social isolation is a significant risk for older adults living alone. Regular companionship visits reduce loneliness, support mental health, and give clients something to look forward to. Our carers are matched to the person, not just to the role.
Outside support extends this to accompanying clients to appointments, day centres, places of worship, leisure activities, or family visits. The carer provides practical assistance and a reassuring presence throughout.
