Managing medication correctly is one of the most important parts of maintaining health at home. Our carers assist with prompting and administering medication at the correct times, following the person's care plan and prescription exactly.
Every visit is logged, and any concerns, missed doses, side effects, changes in response, are reported promptly to the family and GP. We do not take shortcuts with medication.
What is included
Medication support tasks
Our medication support covers oral medication only. If more complex clinical medication management is required, we will advise on the appropriate route, whether that is a district nurse or specialist provider.
